Dexter – "Hello, Dexter Morgan" (12/6/2009)  

Christine keeps silent during questioning and Batista is forced to cut her loose. Once she is free, she breaks down when her father refuses to even try to help her. Dexter begins to frame another killer as Trinity in order to have Arthur all to himself, and finds himself uncertain of what to do when Rita tells she him about her indiscretion. Arthur turns the tables on Dexter and follows him back to where he works.  

 

Californication – "Comings & Goings" (12/6/2009)

 

Hank, Karen, and Becca are invited to a dinner party hosted by Felicia, where Jackie and Jill are also in attendance. An uncomfortable afternoon for Hank becomes even worse when a freshly sober Richard Bates shows up and reveals that he and Karen had an affair when he was her professor. Stacey arrives in soldier's uniform and challenges Hank to a duel.

Glee – "Sectionals" (12/9/2009)

 

Rachel tells Finn that Puck is the father of Quinn's baby. Since Will is unable to accompany the glee club to Sectionals, Emma volunteers and pushes her wedding back a few hours. At Sectionals, the club realizes that their routines have been stolen and hatches a plan to still compete -- thanks to the lifelong preparation of Rachel and a stand-up appearance of Finn. Will considers which woman he wants in his life.  

 

Modern Family – "Undeck the Halls" (12/9/2009)

 

When Phil and Claire find a hole burned into their couch, they demand a confession from one of their children. Alex plans for them all to confess so that they'll be like Spartacus, but that plan fails and Phil cancels Christmas. Manny attempts to infuse some Colombian traditions into Jay's holiday experience, and Cameron and Mitchell invite a man over for Christmas after they accidentally get him canned from his job as Santa at the mall.  

 

FlashForward – repeat episode last week

 

FlashForward won't air new episodes until February/March 2010.  

 

The Office – "Secret Santa" (12/10/2009)

   

Phyllis dresses up as Santa, causing Michael to pout and don a Jesus costume to try and compete with her. The office participates in Secret Santa, which finds Dwight trying to assemble an unknown gift and Erin seeking to stop getting the twelve days of Christmas as a gift from a doting Andy. A conversation about the company with David Wallace leads the office to surprisingly positive holiday news.    

 

30 Rock – "Secret Santa" (12/10/2009)

   

Liz wants to exchange gifts with Jack for the first time but doesn't know what to get him. Jack becomes preoccupied with the visit of his high school crush (played by Julianne Moore) who he hasn't seen in 25 years. Kenneth starts to lose his faith when Tracy informs him that the writers made up a religion to avoid doing Secret Santa, and Pete looks to exert some Christmas revenge on Jenna by giving her solo to Danny.
