Plot Synopsis

There's a worldwide nuclear holocaust and only six people survive: Mark Braddock, an English teacher saved by his Volvo; homeless Jack Connors, who was protected by a highway overpass; venture capitalist Curtis Thorpe, who was in a bank vault; research biologist Dr. Frederick Ross, the only black person to survive; Alice McConnell, a stereotypical feminist who was in the basement/bunker of a bookstore; manicurist Suzanne Skillman, a stereotypical blonde. These six people live in an abandoned farmhouse and try to make a "better" society.
