Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Laurie Segall, WITH ONE VOICE: FIGHTING HATRED TOGETHER is a one-hour special that explores antisemitism through the lives of four young Jewish activists at the forefront of fighting against hate and fighting for equality. In honor of Jewish American History Month, this 60-minute program features conversation between Tova Friedman --one of the youngest living survivors of Auschwitz -- and Emmanuel Acho, former NFL player, author of the book and host of a YouTube series of the same name "Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man." The four young Jewish activists are:

- Gen Slossberg (Age 21; homestate: California) ia a co-creator and producer of LUNAR, a Jewish-Asian film project, and is program manager for Jewish Youth for Community Action.

- Imani Jackson (25; Minnesota) is chef and owner of the catering company "Chopped & Served," which creates employment and development opportunities for young people from underserved communities.

- Eddie Chavez Calderon, (25; Arizona) is campaign director for Arizona Jews for Justice.

- Jon Cohen (28; Florida) is director of Keshet, an organization that advocates for the inclusion of LGBTQ+ Jews into Jewish life.

WITH ONE VOICE: FIGHTING HATRED TOGETHER premiered on Monday, May 31, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on MTV, with a simulcast on MTV2, VH1 and Smithsonian Channel.
