Plot Synopsis

A happily unmarried couple, Whitney and Alex, deal with the ups and downs of a committed relationship while hanging out with their friends and neighbors. Together for three years, the duo is in no rush to get hitched, which seems to get a mixed response from others: Lily, a romantic idealist who loves being in love; Roxanne, a recent divorcee who is practical, cynical, and dreading being single again; and next-door neighbor Mark, a police officer and total bachelor, who claims to be the ultimate player, but likes to talk a good game. In the second season, which premiered on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 8pm ET, the group welcomed RJ, who played high-school basketball with Alex and recently returned to Chicago after getting divorced.
