Plot Synopsis

In this 15-minute animated comedy series, three bear brothers -- Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear -- try to fit in and make friends in the Bay Area. The brother bears are fairly savvy about the modern world: they're masters of the selfie, fans of food trucks, and chasers of Internet fame. Yet they have a lot learn about the trendy residents that surround their humble Bay Area cave. Their favorite way to get around town is by "bear-stack," a unique formation that features Grizzly atop Panda atop Ice Bear, who does all of the walking. Always up for an adventure, Grizzly, the oldest bear, leads his younger brothers with bounds of optimism that only results in disaster some of the time. Although he is their charismatic, jovial, and a highly motivated leader, Grizzly is not the brightest bear in the bunch. The middle brother, Panda, loves pop culture and his smart phone, and he really wants a girlfriend, but most of his attempts have been utter failures. Baby brother Ice Bear, a bear of few words, is a bit odd and outwardly eccentric -- after all, he refers to himself in the third person and sleeps in a refrigerator. They're joined on their misadventures by: Chloe, a 12-year-old child prodigy and college freshman, who is a genius in the animal world, but doesn't understand human social dynamics; Nom Nom, the Internet-famous koala, whose videos go viral immediately and loves to flaunt his fame and success in front of the Bears, making him both their hero and their nemesis; and Charlie, the Bears' talkative, slightly annoying neighbor, who may be Bigfoot, the most elusive and mysterious creature in America.

Season 2 of WE BARE BEARS premiered on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network. In the season opener, "Yard Sale," each of the Bears gets offbeat items at a local yard sale, and their new possessions send them on their own separate adventures.

On Monday, September 7, 2020 from 6-7:30pm ET/PT, Cartoon Network premieres "We Bare Bears: The Movie," a 90-minute movie. Presented with limited commercials by Nintendo Switch, this TV movie is about the bears' love of food trucks and viral videos getting out of hand, catching the attention of the menacing Agent Trout from the National Wildlife Control, who pledges to restore the "natural order" by separating them forever. Chased from their home, Grizz decides there's only one thing they can do to find refuge -- move to Canada! The Bears embark on an epic road trip filled with new friends, dangerous obstacles, and massive parties. But most importantly, the perilous journey will force the Bears to face how they first met and became brothers, in order to keep their family bond from splitting apart.
