Plot Synopsis

In this spinoff of WAFFLES + MOCHI, Waffles and Mochi blast off on their tastiest adventure yet as they open their very own restaurant. As chefs, the two traveling taste-buddies serve up sweet, salty and spicy dishes inspired by the ingredients from their incredible explorations. The new series features familiar faces like Mrs. Obama and world-renowned chefs, home cooks, kids and celebrities from all over the globe who all share the same passion for food and fun. Guest stars include Marsai Martin, Padma Lakshmi, Samin Nosrat, Lyric Lewis, Big Freedia, Bryan Ford, Marcus Samuelsson, Demi Adejuyigbe, Arturo Castro, Rashida Holmes and Rick Martinez. Produced by President Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions, WAFFLES + MOCHI'S RESTAURANT premiered on Monday, October 17, 2022 on Netflix, as the streaming service released the entire six-episode first season.
