Plot Synopsis

Based on the 2013 theatrical film TURBO, this animated comedy series for kids follows Turbo and his Fast Action Stunt Team (FAST) members on their misadeventures, as they race on the coolest tracks and take on the craziest challengers. In each half-hour episode, Turbo and his crew face two challenges at home and abroad -- in destinations like Africa and a Mississippi swamp -- as they race opponents like surfing roaches, a con-artist gecko, a pirate rat and a drift-racing cricket. The Fast Action Stunt Team includes: Turbo, the reigning Starlight City hero, who can out-speed anyone on the straight away, but obstacles throw him a curve; Smoove Move, a super laid-back dude, who's not as fast as some of his fellow snails but has a much smoother ride, because his special sound system shell allows him to be one with the track; White Shadow, a big, clumsy and gullible team member, who has a pure soul, an unwavering love for his teammates, and a shell yo put his team on his back; Skidmark, a reckless, spazzy and overly-caffeinated team member, who's the team tinkerer/inventor/mechanic, always experimenting with new enhancements; Whiplash, a street-smart and fearless snail, who cares more about the art of racing than being a winner, acting as the team's mentor and voice of experience; Chet, Turbo's complete opposite brother, who is now part of the racing team as the team's business manager and voice of reason, but odds are he's ignored 99% of the time; and Burn, the team's girl power, who is a feisty, hot-blooded adrenaline junkie with a short fuse, making her passionate about everything...especially Chet. At 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, Netflix released five episodes for the holiday season, with additional all-new episodes premiering throughout 2014, including five more episodes on each of these Fridays: April 4, June 27, and September 12. On Monday, December 1, 2014 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the final six episodes of Season 1, finishing the 26-episode first season of TURBO FAST. Season 2 was released on July 31, 2015 on Netflix.

On Friday, February 5, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the third season of TURBO FAST. In Season 3, Turbo and the crew quit racing on the track when they become obsessed with a fantasy racing league, compete in a bobsled race against a Jamaican chicken team and let a reality show wreak havoc. The world's funniest snails must contend with hard-partying toilet frogs, a gang of outlaw crickets, truck-robbing cargo bandits, a perfect poodle moth and so much more. Guest voices for Season 3 include: Chris Hardwick as Internet Troll; Norman Reedus as Wild Pete; Ron Perlman as Darryl; Jessica Walter as Aurelia; and Rachel Macfarlane returning as Thora.
