Plot Synopsis

On vacation in exotic cities around the world, couples and families tour three vacation spots in one day and select one location to spend the rest of their holiday. In each 30-minute episode, a single group arrives at its destination, reveals their budget for lodging, discusses their ideal vacation, visits three hotels, condos, spas or homes -- each with their own pros and cons -- and at the end of the show, chooses a home away from home. Along the way, the couples and families enjoy a few of the amenities at each spot -- whether they're zip-lining in Costa Rica or enjoying a short trip on a 55-foot yacht, these groups experience the true essence of each option. Each episode features a different vacation-home agent. Families and couples include: The Scarpino family, on vacation in Miami with a $2500 budget, who tour Trump International in Miami, the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, and the Shelborne Hotel in the heart of South Beach; St. Louis couple Debbie and Basil Rudawsky, who are on vacation in London and must select from the Penny Hill Hotel in the English countryside, the Stafford Hotel in London, and the Sanctum Soho Hotel in London; Tony and Dawn Psaromati, who travel to Costa Rica and must choose between a luxury spa in the rainforest, a mountainside private mansion, and a beach resort in the jungle; The Michaels, who get the chance to test drive three very different Caribbean vacation packages -- from a private beach, a chartered 55-foot yacht, to a hillside villa with their own chef; and many more people with the chance of a lifetime to truly have the vacation of their dreams.
