Plot Synopsis

TOO FAT TO TRANSITION is a reality series that follows transgender men and women who learn they must lose drastic amounts of weight in a short period of time in order to qualify for the gender reassignment surgery they so desperately need. On Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9-11pm ET/PT, TLC premiered a two-hour episode, but the cable channel had not other installments on its schedule at that time. The special sneak-peek episode chronicles the lives of Kayla, a transgender woman, and Shane, a transgender man.
