Plot Synopsis

This half-hour sitcom follows the Thundermans, a typical suburban family trying to keep their astounding superpowers a secret. They have an especially hard time maintaining their facade, because the family's oldest siblings, 14-year-old twins Phoebe and Max, share a healthy rivalry that's turbocharged by their top-notch powers. Phoebe is a super student with a super sunny disposition who super looks forward to being a superhero someday, while prankster Max aspires to be a super villain. Whether they have superspeed, laser/heat vision, or ice breath, each family member has their own powers -- even the family pet rabbit, Dr. Colosso, can talk and has a real attitude. Nickelodeon presented a sneak-peek episode of THE THUNDERMANS on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 7:30pm ET/PT, and less than a month later, the cable channel aired the official series premiere on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT. On Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon, THE THUNDERMANS returned for its second season. In the season opener, "Thunder Van," Hank brings the Thundervan back from Metroburg for Phoebe to continue her superhero training, but when the kids sneak into the van for an unauthorized joyride, Hank gives them a ride they will never forget. On Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, Nickelodeon premiered the third season of THE THUNDERMANS. In Season 3, superhero twins Phoebe and Max confront a new family dynamic that changes their lives forever and face being exposed after someone close to them learns their secret identities. The series continues to follow the opposite siblings as they navigate their way through school, friends and a family of extraordinary superheroes. In the season opener, "Phoebe vs. Max: The Sequel," Phoebe's first assignment as a superhero is to protect Hiddenville, which proves too easy until she challenges Max to inject some mischief into their sleepy hometown.
On Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6:30-8:30pm ET/PT, Nickelodeon premieres the final four episodes of THE THUNDERMANS:

"Mad Max: Beyond Thunderhome" (6pm): Max finally declares his independence from his parents' house rules and moves to his friend's house, where the only rule is that there are no rules! However, ultimate freedom quickly becomes more than Max can handle.

"The Thundreth" (6:30pm): Nearing their 100th save, Phoebe & Max are determined to make it their best and most memorable one yet. But by ignoring a series of small saves they overlook a super villain plotting revenge on his old rivals -- Hank and Barb.

"Looperheroes" (7pm): The Z-Force gives Max & Phoebe a superhero day off, but when they relive the day over and over again, they must find a way to break the loop.

"The Thunder Games" (7:30-8:30pm): Max and Phoebe advance to the final tryout for a spot on an elite superhero squad, but a new supervillain with a surprise connection to the Thunderman family may force them to sacrifice their crime fighting dream.
