Plot Synopsis

SWEET/VICIOUS an offbeat superhero story about two girls, who never felt like they belonged, finding a home in each other...and trying to kick a lot of ass. Ophelia and Jules lead double lives as wannabe vigilantes hell-bent on bringing justice to those who get away with abuse on their college campus. Filled with clumsy attempts and missteps, the odd-couple pair of antiheroes must balance their new secret life with best friends, parents, love interests, and the metaphorical monsters under their beds. The series opens with Jules, the perfect sorority sister, out on her own and balancing her life of being a college student while also serving up vigilante justice on her school's campus. That is until Ophelia, a computer hacking weed dealer and trust-fund baby, discovers Jules' secret at a chance encounter at the record store where she works. As she starts to uncover the pieces, Ophelia's law student best friend Harris grows increasingly concerned over her new private eye mentality. Under dire circumstances, the two girls come together and develop an unlikely friendship. Meanwhile, Jules meets charming art student Tyler at a party and instantly feels a spark, but it isn't long before the girls realize that Tyler and Jules' connection is more complicated than it seems. When Jules ceases her vigilante activities after a near-deadly incident. Ophelia shows her how so many girls are suffering from sexual assault on campus, so Jules agrees to continue to fight for with Ophelia by her side. After Jules trains Ophelia to become a vigilante, they take on their first target together: a boy using a popular dating app to find his victims.
