Plot Synopsis

STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS is a one-hour reality series that spotlights JJ Da Boss and his team of family and friends who have been racing together for decades. In Memphis, it's all for one and one for all, and no one illustrates that sentiment better than JJ Da Boss and his "Team Memphis" crew. Along with his wife Tricia (aka Midget) and his cousin Precious, also known as the "Queen of the Streets," fast-talking JJ welcomes viewers into his world where racing is all about pride and honor. Team Memphis has few rules, and its members often put their lives on the line for the hustle of the race. They are "trying to beat ya, not cheat ya," and are available whenever a challenger emerges. JJ's "arm drop" and "chase is the race" styles require knowledge and skill, and his family of racers rarely fails, as success hinges not just on speed, but on their ability to count on their teammates and get each other from "A to B." They're also well-versed in the art of the hustle and bring that to each race. On Monday, January 8, 2018 at 10pm, Discovery Channel premiered "All for One and One for All," a one-hour special during which JJ da Boss and his wife, Midget welcome viewers to Memphis by introducing their family of racers. They reveal everything about racing in Memphis, where there is no list, just Memphis against the world. Plus, the duo presented a sneak peek of this series, which officially debuted one week later: Monday, January 15 at 10pm.

Season 2 of STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS premiered on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 9-11pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. JJ and family continue to race together, bet together, and never turn their backs on each other. Along with his wife Tricia, cousin Precious, and son Doughboy, JJ and the entire Memphis Street Outlaws team take on every challenger from across the country that comes their way -- driving in real steel-bodied cars like their grandfathers and great-grandfathers drove. Memphis owns its own style of street racing, with street racers going head to head on real asphalt. With few limits and a lot of heart, the Outlaws lay it all on the line with every single race; they know that bringing home pride, honor, and a chunk of cash requires serious skills and the courage to really hit the pavement hard - because in Memphis, only the fastest and baddest cars win. In the two-hour season opener, "Put Your Life on the Line," JJ and the Memphis Street Outlaws are back, but after a devastating crash, Doughboy questions if he should continue racing. Racers from St. Louis are in town, and since one of them tried to burn Tricia down, the Memphis Street Outlaws are done being nice.

The third season of STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS premiered on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 8-10pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. In the two-hour season opener, "Get That Money Out Sucka," Memphis starts the racing season against racers from Illinois, but rain comes and ends the night. JJ sets up another race night with an unfriendly group from Detroit. They make a bet that whichever city is first to win 7 races, wins the total $20,000.

On Monday, March 23, 2020 from 8-10pm ET/PT, Discovery Channel premiered the fourth season of STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS. This season, new drivers emerge into the spotlight and first-time racing teams are ready to take on the Outlaws. Mallory "Molly" Gulley bravely puts it all on the line as she races her new car, The Ugly Duckling, against Kentucky in her first true street race with an out of town team. With only one small-tire arm drop race behind her, she's ready to prove her chops among some of street racing's best and make her Memphis family proud. Doughboy's wife, Chelsea, decides to enter the family business and throws her hat into the racing ring as she steps out from behind the scenes and gets behind the wheel herself. JJ and the Memphis Street Outlaws take on new challengers this season, including Travis Harvey, known on the streets as Carolina Kid, who is eager to make a name for himself and his team of Virginia drivers. Other familiar faces return to take on Team Memphis, including Ronnie Pace and his team of Texas drivers, North Carolina's Chris Block, as well as Kentucky's own Quinn, who's ready to challenge JJ and put their longstanding rivalry to the test. Whether it's risking it all with new drivers behind the wheel or taking high-stakes bets against new top-dog teams across the country, JJ Da Boss and his team are ready to "Get That Money" Memphis style.

Season 5 of STREET OUTLAWS: MEMPHIS premiered on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel. While the MSO has raced this road before, they've always struggled to fine tune their races to get down the street. Now, they'll have to figure it out before the West Coast drivers take their money. JJ invites the top West Coast racers out to challenge the MSO -- including the infamous Boddie and a new, fast-talking Cali driver who seems to have it out for JJ and the family - -and with the West Coast's unique style of driving, Memphis will need to work together to get the wins they need to make the Vegas trip worth the risk. This season, there are some familiar and returning faces in the streets alongside the MSO, including Big Chief, Jackie and Boddie who come out for the race, making these Vegas streets a super-star event. Also this season, Axman and his wife join team Memphis for the season, alongside the rest of the MSO crew including Precious, Tricia and Dennis Bailey. With big-time money, a new street, new drivers and a risky bet that may push the family beyond its limits, JJ Da Boss and his MSO crew must rely on their tried and true grass-roots street racing skills to come out ahead and prove they've learned to dominate out of their comfort zone far and away from home.

In the season opener, "Viva MSO," JJ provides the MSO with a new challenge by spending the entire season racing on the toughest asphalt in Las Vegas. To kick things off, JJ hosts a small tire shoot-out where the winner takes home $16,000.
