Plot Synopsis

STAR TREK: PICARD features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. This new series follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. The story opens at the end of the 24th Century -- and 14 years after his retirement from Starfleet -- with Jean-Luc Picard living a quiet life on his vineyard, Chateau Picard. When he is sought out by a mysterious young woman, Dahj, in need of his help, he soon realizes she may have personal connections to his own past. Following the premiere on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, new episodes of STAR TREK: PICARD's 10-episode first season are available weekly on Thursdays, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers in the United States.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2020 CBS Home Entertainment released STAR TREK PICARD Season 1 on Blu-ray, DVD and Limited Edition Steelbook. This collection offers fans all 10 gripping episodes plus a "Star Trek: Short Treks" titled "Children of Mars," and out of this world EXCULSIVE special features. With a career spanning seven decades, Jean-Luc Picard is one of Starfleet's most decorated and celebrated officers. He served as a starship captain for more than 50 years, beginning in 2333 when he took command of the U.S.S. Stargazer after its captain and first officer were killed in battle. Though he served for 22 years as the Stargazer's captain, Picard's legacy was cemented when he took command in 2364 of the U.S.S.Enterprise NCC-1701-D. He served as master of that vessel and its successor for 17 years before being promoted to admiral in 2381 and given a special assignment to assist the Romulan people during their time of great crisis. Picard retired from Starfleet in 2385. Now at the end of the 24th Century, and 14 years after his retirement from Starfleet, Jean-Luc Picard is living a quiet life on his vineyard, Chateau Picard. His retirement is interrupted when he is sought out by a mysterious young woman, Dahj in need of his help. He soon realizes she may have personal connections to his own past. This is a MUST OWN for STAR TREK fans. Run Time: Approx. 8 hours. Buy and binge now! (Click the red "Buy DVDs" button on this page).
