Plot Synopsis

This monthly, hour-long sports magazine TV show features segments, original reporting and commentary from journalists at "Sports Illustrated" and SportsIllustrated.com. The premiere episode included segments about: "War and Peace in Jackson's Gym," for which Jon Wertheim reveals a desert octagon that produced some of the MMA's biggest stars; "The Bundy Project," with Tom Verducci reporting about the rise of Major League Baseball prospect Dylan Bundy, who is ascending through the Baltimore Orioles' minor-league baseball system quickly; "The Story of Alex Meyer," about Meyer, who has overcome personal obstacles and the death of friend and former champion, Fran Crippen, to make the 10K open-water U.S. Men's Olympic team, as reported by Sarah Kwak; and "The Point After - The Greatest Game Nobody Saw," with Jack McCallum reliving an impromptu Dream Team basketball game, just before the 1992 Olympics, pitting Michael Jordan's team against Magic Johnson's.
