Plot Synopsis

Twelve-year-old Guy Hamdon is an extreme dude who found the power ring of his deceased aunt, and whenever he says "You go girl!," he transforms into female superhero SheZow. There have been many SheZows over the millennia thanks to a magic ring passed down over generations of the Hamdon family. After Guy's Aunt Agnes dies, his family moves into her house, where Guy and his twin sister, Kelly, find their aunt's magical SheZow ring in the basement. The ring is meant to be worn by a girl and Kelly is the head of the International SheZow Fan Club, which makes her the perfect candidate to be the new SheZow -- until Guy puts the ring on, not knowing the ring can't be removed until its wearer dies. Now, Guy uses the ring's villain-battling super powers to protect Megadale from bad guys, with the help of his sister and their best friend, Maz, who dresses up as Bed Head, Nick of Time, Captain Debacle and other sidekick characters. Plus, Guy/SheZow gets support from: Sheila, the world's most sophisticated supercomputer, who is in charge of the entire SheZow operation; his father, Boxter, a local cop on the beat who hates SheZow because she interferes with police work; and his mother, Droosha, a poetic artist, who supports her kids in their endeavors and a SheZow fan. Using super powers like sonic scream, light-saber lipstick, and vanishing cream, Guy/SheZow battles a number of Megadale's super villains, including: Mega Monkey, a super-evil primate from the future, whose main goal is to eliminate SheZow and run Megadale so the people can worship him; Cold Finger, the alter ego of kid villain Timmy Burr, who lives at home with his mom and used to be SheZow's number one fan; Mocktopus -- part shark, part octopus and part stingray -- who uses his high-pitched voice to mock what people say; Tara, the former best friend and sidekick of SheZow when Guy's Aunt Agnes was alive, who is now intent on destroying SheZow; Le Pigeon, a genetically modified French pigeon and avid bird activist; SheZap, SheZow's clone and shadow side, who can disappear into shadow and emerge somewhere else -- as long as it's in a shadow; Major Attitude, an ex-military officer turned villain, who is intent on building his worn army and taking over the world; Brouhaha, a 1950's trickster, who likes to pull pranks that affect the entire city; Tattoozala, the world's oldest tattooed villain, who brings his wild creature tattoos to life by yelling "incubate"; and other nemeses like MannyKen and Big Chow Slim. On Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 12:30pm ET, The Hub aired the U.S. premiere of SHEZOW, almost six months after the program's world premiere on Australia's Network Ten.
