Plot Synopsis

THE REAL WINNING EDGE is a nationally syndicated, weekly, half-hour series (check local listings) that uses each episode to feature three real life high school and college students who have overcome obstacles -- abandonment, financial hardship, being deaf, substance abuse, blindness, bullying, divorce, and more -- in their lives through perseverance and making right choices. Each young achiever is paired with a celebrity, entertainer, or sports star, who introduces their story. Young achievers featured on this show have included: Jesse Estrada (San Pedro, CA), paired with baseball player Albert Pujols; Molly Lewis (Wilmington, NC), introduced by downhill speed sport legend Roger Hickey; Gabe Castellnos (Gonzaga University, WA), paired with vocalist Heather Williams; and much more. THE WINNING EDGE was in syndication on select Fox, WB and independent stations in Fall 2006, and went into national syndication in 2007.
