Plot Synopsis

REAL MONEY is a half-hour reality series that follows multi-platinum rock superstar Eddie Money and his family -- Laurie, his wife of over 30 years; their five kids, Zach, Joe, Jesse, Dez, and Julian; and eight pets -- as they live, laugh, bicker, and rock. Each of the five children has a hand in the music industry:

Dez is a part of the family band: He joins his rock star father out on stage night in and night out as his guitarist. He's also a singer-songwriter and frontman in his own band. Playing alongside him in his band is his brother Julian on drums, and sister Jesse on background vocals.

Jesse is Eddie and Laurie Money's only daughter. She's a singer who performs beside her rock star father, as well as in her brother Dez's band. As she says, "I was born and raised as a rock star's daughter and continuing the legacy by doing it myself."

Zach, the oldest son, specializes in fitness and is Eddie's personal trainer. Besides making sure his family stays in shape, Zach also uses his analytical side of his brain to maintain the family business.

Joe keeps the family dancing as a dubstep producer. Oh, and did we mention he does a killer impression of his father?

Julian is the drummer in both his father's and brother's band. He credits his rock star father for his impressive musicianship, calling him a "huge inspiration."

Hilarity and hijinks ensue as Eddie and Laurie struggle to keep everyone in line and on time; Jesse gets in some trouble while mom and dad are in Cabo; Eddie's forced to take his health seriously; Dez gets career advice from a Grammy-winning engineer; Eddie gets a therapy session on the golf course; and the family continues to rock the stage. In the series opener, "Meet the Moneys," chaos rreigns in the Money home, where Laurie is scrambling to get everyone in the car and off to the night's gig while Eddie is quickly losing patience. Unable to locate Julian, the family is forced to hit the road without their drummer. Will the show still go on?

Season 2 of REAL MONEY premiered on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on AXS TV. The new season opens with Eddie and his son Joe trying to figure out this fancy stationary bike that the doctor instructed Eddie to ride for 30-40 minutes a day. Luckily, Laurie is an experienced cycler so she assists Eddie in his pursuit to lead a healthy lifestyle. Jesse, Eddie's daughter, who is also a member of his band receives a call from the TOP TEN REVEALED host Katie Daryl asking Jesse if she and Eddie would want to return as a music expert on the countdown show. Eddie is thrilled when he finds out that Katie asked them back, but Jesse asks Eddie to not say anything embarrassing during the interviews. Surely, Eddie will keep it low key. Or not... Following the TOP TEN interviews, the family finds themselves in troubling times as the horrific California fires strike their neighborhood and the family is forced to evacuate from their home and go to a hotel. No matter what the Money family bands together. After a three-month break, REAL MONEY returned with new Season 2 episodes on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 9:30pm ET/6:30pm PT on AXS TV. In the second half of the season, legendary Rocker Eddie Money receives some unexpected medical news which will send shockwaves through the family and Eddie prepares for the fight of his life. In the mid-season premiere, "You Can't Keep a Good Man Down," Eddie and Laurie discuss the current season of the show. Looking for some much-needed stress relief, the Money kids hit a local 'rage room', where they release tension smashing glass objects and computer parts in a controlled environment.
