Plot Synopsis

Six former daytime and primetime soap stars, playing fictionalized variations of themselves, take control of their careers, as the all-female cast works in front of and behind the cameras to develop, pitch, and produce a new steamy series -- all with the goal of landing a pilot deal by the end of the season. Vanessa Marcil, Lindsay Hartley, and Crystal Hunt ask Donna Mills to help create a new primetime drama. When Donna invites Hunter Tylo to join the project, tensions rise when the women realize they may not share the same vision for the new show, but Chrystee Pharris, the group's voice of reason, brings them back together. With the girls moving forward, Donna invites the women to her house for a wine and cheese party to announce The CW is interested in their project. Hunter is thrilled, but Chrystee, Lindsay, Crystal and Vanessa are upset that Donna speaks to the network without them. To teach the ladies a lesson not go behind her back, Donna enlists the help of her long-time friend Joan Collins. The queens of drama include: Lindsay Hartley, best known for portraying the hopeless romantic Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on PASSIONS from 1999-2008; Crystal Hunt, who, at the age of 17, was cast as the troubled, misguided teenager Lizzie Spaulding on GUIDING LIGHT; Vanessa Marcil, who started her TV career playing high school student Brenda Barrett on GENERAL HOSPITAL; Donna Mills, best known for playing conniving Abby Cunningham on the '80s prime-time soap KNOTS LANDING; Chrystee Pharris, who portrayed Simone Russell on PASSIONS; and Hunter Tylo, who has played Dr. Taylor Forrester on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL for the past 23 years.
