Plot Synopsis

Executive produced and hosted by Elizabeth Banks, each one-hour episode of PRESS YOUR LUCK features three contestants competing against each other by answering questions to earn spins on the Big Board. Contestants then use their spins to win cash and prizes while trying to avoid the WHAMMY, who could take all of their winnings and leave them with nothing. The winning contestant moves on to the All-New Bonus Round to face the WHAMMY in a final battle for the chance to win a fortune. On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT, ABC debuted a "special early premiere" of PRESS YOUR LUCK, with the official series premiere at 8pm the following day, Wednesday, June 12. New episodes of PRESS YOUR LUCK will continue to debut Wednesdays at 8pm.

The sophomore season of PRESS YOUR LUCK premiered on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC, with Elizabeth Banks returning as host and executive producer. In the season opener, "I'm Not Crying, You're Crying," Banks is joined by contestants Chad Aull (hometown: Owensboro, Kentucky), Walt Charles (hometown: Arouca, Trinidad and Tobago), and Emily Dowler (hometown: Roscoe, Pennsylvania). PRESS YOUR LUCK continued its second season on Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT on ABC during Fall 2020, beginning September 24. The fall premiere, "They're Baaaaack!," features legendary contestants from the original series return 35 years later to try to win those big bucks. Host Elizabeth Banks is joined by contestants Theo Cooper (hometown: Hawthorne, California), Pam Kirk (hometown: Apple Valley, California) and Barbara Krant (hometown: Victorville, California).

Season 3 of PRESS YOUR LUCK premiered on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, with Elizabeth Banks returning to help contestants try to win big bucks. In the season opener, "Oh, My Nervous System!," Banks is joined by contestants Marcia Harris (hometown: Fairfield, California), Adam Frazier (hometown: Sacramento, California) and Jake Day (hometown: Fresno, California).

PRESS YOUR LUCK returned for its fourth season on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. Elizabeth Banks returns to host the series' fourth and wildest season yet, and helps contestants try to win big bucks. The stakes have never been higher as contestants try to avoid the iconic and devilish Whammy for a chance at life-changing cash and prizes. In the season opener, Banks is joined by contestants Gina Mertz (hometown: Roseville, California), Jordon Friend (hometown: Sacramento, California) and Cathy Adams (hometown: Tacoma, Washington).

Season 5 of PRESS YOUR LUCK premiered on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT on ABC. Host Elizabeth Banks returns for another high-stakes season as the contestants try to avoid the WHAMMY and bring home a million bucks. In the season opener, Nick, Kierra and Tyler compete for the cash prize! After a six-week break, PRESS YOUR LUCK returned for its winter premiere on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, immediately followed by two encore episodes. In the winter premiere, "Royalty," Elizabeth Banks is keeping the energy high as contestants try and avoid the WHAMMY and take home the big bucks!
