Plot Synopsis

Based on Victoria Kann & Elizabeth Kann's "Pinkalicious" book series, PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC is a half-hour animated preschool series that inspires children to explore the arts and express themselves creatively. The series brings music, dance, theatre and visual arts to life through the adventures of Pinkalicious, her brother Peter, and their many friends. Together, they find creative opportunities and imaginative solutions to problems, encouraging young viewers to do the same. Each 30-minute program features two 11-minute stories. Season 2 featured 13 half-hour episodes, while the third season included 12 episodes -- ten 30-minute episodes and two one-hour specials.

Season 5 of PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC premiered on Monday, February 13, 2023 on PBS (check local listings). In the season opener, "Snow Alarm; The Pinkest Reward," Pinkalicious and Peter build a snow alarm so they don't miss out on playing in the cold; Pinkalicious earns a ribbon for her good deeds.

The sixth season of PINKALICIOUS & PETERRIFIC debuted on Monday, February 12, 2024 on PBS (check local listings). In the season opener, "Dojo Mojo; Googly Eyes," Gertie helps Pinkalicious find her inner courage when it comes time to learn a new move in karate class; the school experiments with googly eyes.
