Plot Synopsis

PBS NEWSHOUR, successor to THE NEWSHOUR WITH JIM LEHRER, continues to provide in-depth analysis of current events. This nightly broadcast originally featured a two-anchor format, with a rotation of Gwen Ifill, Judy Woodruff and Jeffrey Brown. Senior correspondents Margaret Warner and Ray Suarez delivered original reporting and newsmaker interviews from the field, while correspondent Hari Sreenivasan presented news to the digital world and anchors the news summary on the television broadcasts.

In 2022, PBS NEWSHOUR is anchored by managing editor Judy Woodruff and features the latest news, analysis and field reports from around the world, live studio interviews and discussions.
