Plot Synopsis

In this parody of crime procedurals like CSI, LAW & ORDER and HAWAII 5-0, NTSF:SD:SUV follows a clandestine team of government agents who protect San Diego from numerous terrorist threats from such evil countries as Mexico, Canada and Los Angeles. This team of highly trained operatives includes: Trent, who is best described as the man who would be made if David Caruso and Jack Bauer had a baby who only watched Jerry Bruckheimer films; Trent's partner Alphonse, who is stuck in San Diego because he can't go back to his home in Alaska and who uses his Eskimo skills to read the earth for clues; Trent's other partner Piper, who sometimes cries after she kills and is obsessed with keeping her secret double life as a barista from her fiance; Sam, the head of NTSF communications, whose enemy is S.A.M., a robot with whom he shares communication duties and who always steals his thunder; Jessie, the gorgeous and nerdy lab tech with low self-esteem, who dresses in sexy outfits but is treated by others as an ugly duckling; and Kove, the head of NTSF, who has been married and divorced to Trent -- twice -- and who has an obsession with teen fiction and pop culture. Guest stars for Season 1 included Jeff Goldblum, Jerry O'Connell, Gabrielle Union, Adam Scott, JK Simmons, Wilmer Valderama, Moon Bloodgood and many more. Season 2 guest stars include Jon Daly, Alison Brie, Max Greenfield, and more. Season 3 premiered just after midnight (12:15am ET) on Thursday, July 25, 2013 on adult swim, welcoming DOCTOR WHO's Karen Gillan to the cast as Daisy. The show's third season was partly shot in London, which appears in the series as the dangerous British District of San Diego.
