Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews, archival photos and video, and re-enactments, MY DIRTY LITTLE SECRET tells tales of people who killed to protect their secrets. From the perfect housewife next door to the beloved community pastor, everyone has a few skeletons rattling around in their closet. But what if someone uncovered those skeletons or simply knew too much? Each 60-minute episode features a different deadly deed, including the cases of: Joseph Pikul, a successful New York stockbroker, who was found guilty of killing his wife -- maybe to protect his secret life; Texas investigators, who find the nude body of a young blonde woman but realize that the scene has been staged to bury a series of sordid secrets; and many more murders caused by someone's need to hide a secret. Immediately after a marathon (4-9pm ET/PT) of encore episodes from the show's first season, Investigation Discovery aired the Season 2 premiere of MY DIRTY LITTLE SECRET on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, followed by another marathon (10pm-6am) of encore episodes. The season opener chronicled how a home invasion turned deadly, dashing the dreams of Bob and Jill Hand, while revealing sinister secrets that had been kept hidden for three decades. MY DIRTY LITTLE SECRET returned for its third season on Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the Season 3 opener, "Dressed to Kill," fireman Bill Delaney and his beautiful wife Deborah are the pride of their quiet Arizona community, so Deborah's strange and sudden disappearance sparks a desperate search.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the Season 3 finale of MY DIRTY LITTLE SECRET. In the season ender, "Don't Mess with Mommy," when Marie Singleton-Jackson -- a newlywed with young children and a seemingly routine life as a wife and mother -- goes missing, the detectives' mission, should they choose to accept it, is to take on the CIA, and delve into a world of cloak and dagger and murder.
