Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Salma Hayek and created by Diego Gutierrez, MONARCA is a high stakes, multi-generational family saga about a tequila-born Mexican business empire, and the battle that ensues when a member of the family decides to fight the dirty system her family helped create. After 20 years, Ana Maria returns to Mexico from Los Angeles and vies for control of her family's tequila empire as it threatens to crumble under corruption and secrets. Her father offers to give her the reigns, much to the dismay of her brothers. Netflix released the 10-episode first season of MONARCA on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
