Plot Synopsis

Directed by Esther Reyes, MENENDEZ + MENUDO: BOYS BETRAYED is a three-part true crime documentary that reveals a connection between Jose Menendez and Edgardo Diaz, which gives the Menendez brothers' case new life -- and Roy Rossello the chance to tell his Menudo story. Lyle and Erik Menendez infamously killed their parents in 1989. Menudo was the first mega-boy band to take the world by storm. In this limited series, viewers learn of the connection between the two stories that could corroborate the brothers' decades-old accusations against their father, Jose Menendez. One former Menudo member could be the key to changing how the public views the brothers' case while simultaneously crusading for his own justice.
