Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by David and Tamela Mann, THE MANNS is a one-hour reality series that follows David and Tamela, their four grown children, eight grandchildren and a slew of friends, extended family and other characters that enrich the lives of the entertainment power couple. With recording careers, touring, filming and managing an outrageous family, The Manns often find themselves negotiating from the conference table to the kitchen table while showing viewers the day-to-day challenges, successes and joy that happen behind the scenes with this beloved couple who has been married for 29 years. In the premiere episode, when Tamela's beloved dog dies, the family attempts to make her feel better by hosting a memorial service and attempting to find her a replacement puppy. Tamela is presented with dogs of every size and personality, but will anyone find a dog that's just right? David puts his family through a series of hilarious and grueling tests in order to conquer their fears. To their dismay, the group is forced to endure everything from a bug-eating challenge to fire walking! However, the family has a surprise test of their own that gives David a taste of his own medicine. Later, David Jr. gets caught in the middle of a family feud between his wife, Chantal, and his sister, Tia, when they both participate in a "Mann Tank" competition in order to convince David and Tamela to invest in their business ideas. The winner gets $10,000 to invest in their company and the loser gets... "to go home a loser," says David.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT, TV One premiered the season finale of THE MANNS. In the season ender, "Mann on the Run," the Mann clan hit the road for their tour and try to generate some momentum. Will they have a successful tour or will unforeseen circumstances leave them powerless? Meanwhile, David Jr upsets the elders with his music. Tia adapts post surgery.
