Plot Synopsis

Based on Holly Ringland's 2018 book of the same name, THE LOST FLOWERS OF ALICE HART is a seven-episode drama series that tells the story of Alice Hart, who, at age 9, tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire. She's then taken to live with her grandmother June at Thornfield flower farm, where she learns that there are secrets within secrets about her and her family's past. Set in Australia, the story features the country's natural landscape, with native wildflowers and plants providing a way to express the inexpressible. As she grows from her complicated past, Alice's journey builds to an emotional climax when she finds herself fighting for her life against a man she loves. THE LOST FLOWERS OF ALICE debuted on Friday, August 4, 2023 on Prime Video, which released the first three episodes of the series. A new episodes dropped weekly on Fridays through September 1.

On Friday, September 1, 2023, Prime Video released "Part 7: Sturt's Desert Pea," the finale of THE LOST FLOWERS OF ALICE HART. Alice is pushed to physical and emotional breaking point, but by moving through the turmoil, and learning to love and forgive herself and her family, she gathers the strength to powerfully use her own voice.
