Plot Synopsis
Hosted and executive produced by Will Arnett, each one-hour episode of LEGO MASTERS features pairs of LEGO enthusiasts facing off in unbelievable brick-building challenges. Arnett, alongside expert judges -- Amy Corbett, a LEGO senior design manager; and Jamie Berard, a LEGO Creator Expert -- encourage the builders, introduce incredible challenges, and put the creations to the test. In each episode, the competing pairs who impress the judges the most progress to the next round, until the finale, during which the top teams face off for a cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy and the grand title of LEGO MASTERS. Based on the hit British reality-competition series of the same name, LEGO MASTERS features celebrity guests, including Mayim Bialik, Terry Crews, Nicole Byer and THE LEGO MOVIE writers and directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller in Season 1. The 10 pairs include in the inaugural season include: Boone & Mark; Mel & Jermaine; Krystle & Amie; Manny & Nestor; Travis & Corey; Samuel & Jessica; Flynn & Richard; Jessie & Kara; Tyler & Amy; and Christian & Aaron.
The sophomore season of LEGO MASTERS premiered on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on FOX, with Will Arnett returning as host and executive producer. Twelve new duos are set to compete against each other in even more ambitious brick-building challenges -- including an earthquake tower challenge, a demolition derby, a LEGO fashion show and more -- to be crowned the country's most talented amateur LEGO builders. In each episode, Arnett, alongside expert Brickmasters and LEGO employees Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard, will encourage the builders, introduce incredible challenges and put their creativity and skills to the test. The competing pairs who impress the Brickmasters the most will progress to the next round, until the finale, during which the top teams will face off for a $100,000 cash prize, the ultimate LEGO(R) trophy and the grand title of LEGO MASTERS. Season 3 of LEGO MASTERS premiered on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on FOX. Returning host Will Arnett and brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard welcome new teams of LEGO enthusiasts, who embark on a brick blasting new season. With infinite possibilities and an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks, teams of two compete against each other in even more ambitious brick-building challenge for a $100,000 cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy and the grand title of LEGO MASTERS. In the season premiere episode, the talented duos are introduced and tasked with a space-themed challenge, where contestants are commissioned to build a fun, colorful, personalized spaceship that tells the judges something about their team. Plus, NASA Astronauts Jessica Meir and Tom Marshburn make a special appearance. On Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 8-10pm ET/PT, FOX premiered "Water Works; Finale: Master Build," the two-hour Season 3 finale of LEGO MASTERS. irst, the semi-finalists have 10 hours to build a fountain that uses water to create movement within their build. The three teams that use water to meaningfully tell a story move on to the finale. Then, it's a red carpet finish as the three remaining teams get 24 hours to build their best creation possible. There's one final twist in store when the teams are given gift bags with the first sets they built as kids to celebrate 90 years of LEGO. They must incorporate pieces from those sets into their master build and the duo with the most impressive build wins $100,000, the Master Builder title, and trophy, and gets their creation displayed at LEGOLAND New York resort.
