Plot Synopsis

Hosts Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, Jeff Mauro, Marcela Valladolid and Geoffrey Zakarian discuss food trends, reveal family-meal tips, play trivia games, answer viewer tweets, and dish on what they're "Into and Over." In each one-hour episode of THE KITCHEN, these five celebrity chefs participate in multiple segments, including: "Personal Faves," as each host cooks with a loved one; "Cookbook Club," as the group introduces authors and their cookbooks, such as Jenny McCoy's "Desserts for Every Season"; a cocktail hour, as Geoffrey mixes up a new cocktail each week, like Red Velvet Cocktail and The Perfect Manhattan; how-to lessons, showing how to make no-bake desserts, Creamy Kale and Eggs for breakfast, or dishes using the most searched ingredients on foodnetwork.com -- chicken, kale and quinoa; and other fun segments, like the chefs peeking inside each other's pantries and debates about the merits of several kitchen gadgets versus a good paring knife.

THE KITCHEN returned for its second season on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11am ET/PT on Food Network. In the Season 2 opener, "Spring Show," Sunny kicked off THE KITCHEN's spring celebration with a spring Pan-Sagna and Katie gave Pork Chops some left over l'oven. The hosts prepared asparagus five different ways, and welcomed guest Marc Summers from REWRAPPED. Geoffrey created a fresh spring Gin Fizz while the gang chatted about different uses for hard boiled Easter eggs.

On Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11am ET/PT, Food Network premiered the fourth season on THE KITCHEN. In the Halloween-themed season opener, "Sweets and Treats," the gang discusses a strange new food trend and Katie makes a delicious Pumpkin Roll Up. The Maniac Pumpkin Carvers teach a few carving basics and the hosts get even more creative with Pumpkin A-Ha. Plus, a supermarket fix with an eerie twist, the gang gets crafty with food, and Jeff and Sunny transform Halloween candy. Geoffrey mixes up a spooky sangria and The Maniac Pumpkin Carvers reveal The Kitchen Pumpkin!

Food Network premiered the seventh season of THE KITCHEN on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11am ET/PT. In the season opener, "The Kitchen Reveal," THE KITCHEN set is revealed with its new fall colors, and Marcela Valladolid makes a seasonal vegetable lasagna. Then, slow cooker hacks, Geoffrey Zakarian demonstrates a classic vinaigrette, and Katie Lee makes her classic summer crab cakes. The season opener, "Fix Up Your Favorites," starts of the New Year healthy, as Jeff Mauro shares his recipe for a lightened-up Stuffed Mushroom Lasagna and Katie Lee makes her delicious Cauliflower Fried Rice. Learn about the new healthy trends that are sweeping the nation, including a new vegetable toast.
