Plot Synopsis

Mixing live-action and animation, KIRBY BUCKETS is a half-hour comedy series that follows the outrageous adventures and vivid imagination of a 13-year-old aspiring animator, Kirby Buckets. Kirby dreams of becoming a famous animator like his idol, Mac MacCallister, and along with his two best friends -- the confident and smooth Fish and naive nice guy Eli -- he navigates his eccentric town of Forest Hills. The trio usually find themselves trying to get out of a predicament before Kirby's crafty older sister, Dawn, and her whip-smart BFF, Belinda, catch them. Along the way, Kirby is joined by his animated characters, each with its own vibrant personality that only he and viewers can see. Some of Kirby's favorite characters are Macho Taco, the self-explanatory Tri-Butt, Dr. Gut-Punch, Octo-Stache, Scrunch Face and the most fearsome of them all -- Dawnzilla, Kirby's take on his seemingly harsh older sister.

KIRBY BUCKETS returned for its second season on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT on Disney XD. In the season opener, "Failure to Launch," Kirby launches his own web channel named Kirblammo, but Dawn, tired of always being overshadowed, hijacks his channel to try and ruin his big day.
