Plot Synopsis

Hosted and executive produced by Tiffany Haddish, KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS is a reimagined version of the classic variety show, showcasing a mix of in-studio segments and taped pieces from across the country -- all set in front of a live studio audience. Each one-hour episode highlights the comedic perspectives of a diverse group of kids in segments, such as "Kids Rule," in which kids explain to Tiffany the rules for everything from sportsmanship to dating; "Love Talk," where Tiffany seeks advice on her love life; "I'll Be Right Back," a hidden-camera segment with Tiffany having the kids cover her desk when she steps out of the office and as soon as she does, things go haywire; "Granny Tiff," when Tiffany, in prosthetic makeup and dressed up as an older woman, receives technology advice from the kids; and more. In the series premiere, "You're Famous, But You Ain't All That," the first guests include a panel of future rock princesses that question her friendship with one of their favorite musicians, two 6-year-olds discuss all the weird things grown-ups do and a musical prodigy that has Tiffany singing the blues. Later, Tiffany convinces some kids to film a commercial for her fake product, She Ready Dessert Ketchup.
On Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC debuted "My Work Is Done," the season finale of KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS. Tiffany takes a look back at some of the most LOL moments of the season. Also, 7-year-old aspiring FBI agent Clark gets a crash course in forensic science, interrogation, handcuffing and more at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
