Plot Synopsis

INSIDE SECRET SOCIETIES is a one-hour documentary series that explores some of the most secretive and dangerous global underworld societies. This series digs into the hidden side of organized crime, including hardcore gangs, fanatical religious groups, shady cults, esoteric societies and criminal fraternities -- all of them seeking to gain control of our world. The series premiere focuses on the overwhelming military power of the Nazi party, their strong belief in ancient mysticism, the occult and even alien contact -- all of which fueled their desire to rule as a genetically pure race. Subsequent episodes chronicles these societies: the KKK, revealing the impact of the group that once had a million followers, but is currently just a shadow of its former self; the Yakuza, a widespread criminal gang in the heart of Japan engaged in various criminal activities including extortion, prostitution and illegal gambling; the Order of Assassins, one of the mostly deadly, notorious and secretive groups in the medieval world; the Priory of Scion, an enigmatic secret society that traces its roots back to the 12th century; and the Brotherhood of the Blood, a dark and mysterious sect that is sworn to protect and preserve the Holy Blood of Christ.

On Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, AHC: American Heroes Channel premiered the season finale of INSIDE SECRET SOCIETIES. In the season ender, "The Brotherhood of the Blood," sworn to protect and preserve the Holy Blood of Christ, the Brotherhood of the Blood are a dark and mysterious sect. We go on a quest to shed light on a group shrouded in secrecy through the ages, revealing the extreme methods the Brotherhood used.
