Plot Synopsis

IN OTHER NEWS is a one-hour series that transports viewers back to a moment in history, focusing on stories that would normally have been on the front page of the newspaper, but were pushed to "other news" by a major event. The first episode explores what else happened while the 1992 Los Angeles Riots ruled the headlines. Then, the second installment, "Breaking Chad," focuses on November 6, 2000, the day of the biggest drug bust in U.S. history, which happened to be at the same time that election coverage dominated the 24-hour news cycle.
