Plot Synopsis

HOOTEN & THE LADY is a one-hour scripted adventure series that follows maverick adventurer Hooten and fearless historical expert Lady Alexandra, as they embark on a mission to find legendary artifacts. Hooten is a smooth-talking, yet foolhardy, lone wolf American, who often finds himself in sticky situations. Lady Alexandra is an aristocrat and British Museum curator who, despite being straight-laced, is eager to follow in the footsteps of history's great archaeologists and venture to uncharted lands. Meeting in the thick of the Amazon jungle, they form an unlikely partnership as they travel the globe in pursuit of hidden treasures. Early in the series, Hooten tracks down Alex to enlist her help in finding an ancient Sibylline book in Rome, much to the dismay of her mother, Lady Lindo. While on their search, the two break into the Sistine Chapel, battle an alligator and someone close to Alex is put in jeopardy. The CW aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT.

The CW premiered the season finale of HOOTEN & THE LADY on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT. In the season ender, "The Caribbean," Alex puts her wedding in jeopardy when she follows Hooten to an idyllic Caribbean island to find long-lost treasure.
