Plot Synopsis

In this series of one-hour specials, Don Wildman travels around the globe to visit some of the most iconic places in the world, where he reveals fascinating stories of mystery and intrigue. In the first installment of GREATEST MYSTERIES, Wildman explores some of the lesser-known Smithsonian museums, including: the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, where he spotlights the feud behind the inventors of the jetpack; the National Postal Museum, where he shares the curious story of a scruffy Scotch-Irish terrier mix standing inside a glass case wearing a vest with over 300 medals and tags; the National Museum of American History, where he takes a closer look at the Bubble Boy suit that promised its young user incredible hope; and other locations where he highlights the unlikely origins of a boundary-breaking bikini and a covert camera that captured an image that electrified the nation. In subsequent episodes, Wildman visits Buckingham Palace, the Holy Land, the Kremlin, the Louvre, the Vatican, the White House, Sturgis, and more.
