Plot Synopsis

FOOD PARADISE INTERNATIONAL travels around the globe to find the tastiest dishes in the most legendary and undiscovered hot spots around the world-- from crispy Southern BBQ in Paris to pizza pies in Tokyo. Each 60-minute episode focuses on a different food theme: pork, including sweet applewood pulled pork in South Africa, soft fatty juice-dripping porchetta in Rome, and a smoky pork loin soaked in a spicy marinade in Tokyo; steak, including a medium rare Porterhouse oozing with deliciousness in Sydney, an Angus tenderloin drenched in butter in Barcelona, and a sweet and spicy prime fillet in South Africa; deep-fried foods, including crispy, buttermilk fried chicken in Paris, rich and nutty deep-fried lobster in Barcelona, and a beer-battered bacon-wrapped jalapeno popper oozing with cheese in South Africa; burgers, including boozed up beef dripping with blue cheese in Paris, a juicy patty oozing crispy bacon and sweet barbecue sauce in Buenos Aires, and tender Wagyu beef doused in teriyaki in Tokyo; pizza, including a tender roast lamb and goat cheese pizza in London, a piece of cheese heaven in Buenos Aires, and a crispy Mother Clucker topped with juicy chicken and brown sugar in South Africa; and BBQ, including a juicy sirloin with a crispy caramelized crust doused in a wine sauce in Rome, a crispy rotisserie chicken rubbed in spicy deliciousness in Sydney, and tender legs of lamb in Barcelona.

On Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered Season 2 of FOOD PARADISE INTERNATIONAL. The season opener, "Seafood Paradise," dives into the yummiest seafood in the world. From crunchy King Prawn lollipops in Spain, to snapper stuffed with shrimp and topped with creamy coconut sauce in Jamaica, to a rich and spicy clam and octopus stew in South Korea.
