Plot Synopsis

Based on true events, THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE: PAOLO GUERRERO is a drama series that tells the story of Peruvian soccer star Paolo Guerrero. When Paolo tells his struggle in the courtroom surrounding his nearly tragic yet very bizarre anti-doping case prior to World Cup 2018. His lifelong dream was to take Peru back to the World Cup after 35 years and his nation's hope and dreams hung by a thread when after an obscure case of doping he was suspended and removed from the WC. This case brought an entire country to a halt and after an against-the-clock battle and investigation, Paolo was proven innocent and his country lived the WC in full joy. All six episodes of THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE: PAOLO GUERRERO dropped on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 on Netflix.
