Plot Synopsis

Kids and adults compete as families against each other in this hour-long game show that requires strategy, creativity and luck as contestants are challenged with an array of Hasbro games. Starting with Season 3 in Fall 2012, families are picked directly from the audience to compete for a chance to win cash and prizes. Additionally, every participating family plays in the Community Chest round in which one lucky family with the combination that opens the chest advances to the final Monopoly Crazy Crash round and has a chance to win a new car. In addition to Battleship, a new game for the third season, FAMILY GAME NIGHT also features returning fan-favorites Yahtzee Bowling, Connect 4 Basketball, Simon Flash, and new ways to play popular games, Sorry!, Bop It! Boptagon, Twister Lights Out and Operation. The night before FAMILY GAME NIGHT premiered on The Hub, TLC aired a sneak peek of the series at 10pm on Saturday, October 9, 2010.
