Plot Synopsis

Executive produced and hosted by Drew Barrymore, THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW is a one-hour, daytime, syndicated talk show, featuring celebrity interviews, self-help segments, lifestyle tips, games & giveaways, and comedy sketches. In the inaugural episode of THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW, Drew introduces her new segment "Drew's News," reunites with longtime friend and co-star Adam Sandler, reunites with CHARLIE'S ANGELS co-stars Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, learns how to cook Chef Haile Thomas' Islander Lively Bowl, and reveals a surprise backyard makeover for essential workers -- the Copening family -- in "Designed by Drew." Plus, Jane Lynch shares her most starstruck moment, and Drew debuts "The Goodbye!" Later in during premiere week, Drew interviews: Reese Witherspoon, authors Derrick Barnes & Gordon James (Tuesday); Jane Fonda and joins Gabrielle Union (Wednesday); Tyra Banks and Charlize Theron (Thursday); and Billy Porter (Friday). Later episodes in premiere week also feature segments like: Billy Eichner playing "Would Drew Barrymore Like That?"!; a quarantine fashion show with Christian Siriano; "Stans for Stains," as Jimmy Fallon shares the story of the first time he met Paul McCartney; "Share the Mic Now" founder Luvvie Ajayi Jones; kid correspondent Jonah Larson; "Word of the Week"; and picks for weekend fun in "The Weekender."
