Plot Synopsis

DOWN TO THE STUDS is a half-hour reality series that follows husband-husband duo PJ and Thomas McKay, as they use their design and renovation skills to improve their hometown of Chattanooga, TN. Partnered with Thomas' sister, Sydney, and PJ's friend and neighbor, Tania, this dynamic team can bring beauty and value to even the most dilapidated homes. On Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Thomas' Childhood Home Gets Flipped," Thomas and PJ jump at the opportunity to buy Thomas' childhood home in the historic district of downtown Cleveland, TN, but find out it needs a lot of work. With the help of Tania and Sydney, they plan to get the house ready for market within 10 weeks.
