Ussing never-before-seen footage and exclusive details, THE DAY I MET EL CHAPO: THE KATE DEL CASTILLO STORY is a three-part series that tells the story of Mexican superstar actress Kate del Castillo and her untold story of her encounter with El Chapo Guzman, the world's most-wanted drug lord. Their meeting started with a tweet about El Chapo, putting Kate on a scary ride involving Sean Penn, the Mexican government, and a secret meeting with the narco. On Friday, October 20, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire three-episode series:

"Destined to Meet": Kate del Castillo reflects on her controversial tweets about El Chapo, which led to her acquiring the rights to his life story.

"Face to Face": Kate and Sean Penn travel to meet El Chapo at a secret location in Mexico, where a discussion about making a movie takes a sudden and shocking turn.

"The Fallout": After El Chapo's capture, Kate is thrust into the international spotlight, where she's left feeling betrayed and fearful of the Mexican government.
