Plot Synopsis

Each weeknight (Mon-Thu) for 30 minutes, host Trevor Noah looks at the day's top headlines through his unique comedic lens. Along with the help of The Best F#@king News Team Ever, Noah covers the biggest news stories in politics, pop culture and more, while inviting one guest for an in-studio interview. Noah added three new correspondents -- Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic and Roy Wood Jr. -- to this group, which continued with THE DAILY SHOW: Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi and Kristen Schaal. Comedian Kevin Hart was Noah's first guest, and the rest of the inaugural week featured: Whitney Wolfe, founder and CEO of Bumble (Sep. 29); Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ), Republican Presidential Candidate (Sep. 30); and musician Ryan Adams, the show's first musical guest (Oct. 1). THE DAILY SHOW WITH TREVOR NOAH premiered on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central, with a simulcast on 10 other Viacom Networks including BET, Centric, CMT, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Spike, TV Land, VH1 and VH1 Classic.
On Election Night 2016 (Tuesday, November 8) at 11pm ET/8pm PT, Comedy Central premiered "Democalypse 2016 Live," with a live simulcast on MTV, MTV2, VH1, Spike, and TV Land. Trevor Noah and THE DAILY SHOW correspondents go live on Election Night to report on one of the most bizarre and contentious races in American history, featuring analysis from Noah and from "The Best F#@king News Team," including Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic, Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj and Roy Wood Jr., as the election results come in. Also, fans will be able to view the LIVE Election Night episode through a multi-platform streaming experience on and the Comedy Central App.
