Plot Synopsis

Co-created, executive produced and written by Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder, THE CURSE is a scripted series that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple, Whitney and Asher Siegel, as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show, "Flipanthropy." Their plan is to flip houses and convert them into eco-friendly homes for the struggling residents of Espanola, New Mexico, where the production is overseen by ingratiating producer Dougie Schecter, who has his own demons. The first three episodes of THE CURSE were screened on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the New York Film Festival (NYFF), marking the first time a TV series debuted at NYFF. One month later on Friday, November 10, THE CURSE made its online premiere on Paramount+. Two days later on Sunday, November 12 at 10pm ET/PT, THE CURSE made its official Showtime debut.

On Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT, Paramount+ with Showtime (linear cable) premiered "Green Queen," the season finale of THE CURSE, which picks up months later.
