Plot Synopsis

"Current Music" is a 30-minute primetime series that takes a look at today's music for the Current-TV generation. Mainly shot outside the studio, the show takes viewers on the road with cutting-edge artists, to unique locations for interviews and inside intimate venues for concert footage. Sometimes "Current Music" is embedded with a band, like Common, and gives a behind-the-scenes look at its tour. Other times, the show will share a soul-searching interview with an up-and-coming group -- like when it decided to interview an animal rights-minded band at the abandoned Old Zoo at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. Or maybe "Current Music" is following tweets to watch Amanda Palmer play in a secret L.A. location -- just so it can air an awesome, exlcusive peek of her concert.
