Plot Synopsis

After a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. This iconic family -- Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and D.J. -- grapples with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America. The family prevails through it all -- the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns -- with love, humor and perseverance. The series features John Goodman (Dan), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Lecy Goranson (Becky), Michael Fishman (D.J.), Emma Kenney (Harris), Ames McNamara (Mark) and Jayden Rey (Mary) as their beloved Conner characters, with the new addition of Maya Lynne Robinson (Geena). Guest stars in the series premiere include Estelle Parsons as Beverly, James Pickens Jr. as Chuck, and Natalie West as Crystal. THE CONNERS made its network debut on The CW with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 8:30-9:30pm ET/PT, starting with the series opener.

On Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC premiered the second season of THE CONNERS. In the season opener, "Preemies, Weed and Infidelity," in the wake of Emilio's deportation, Jackie steps into the role of a paternal figure and creates a meticulous birth plan for Becky; but as the Conners know, nothing ever goes according to plan. Meanwhile, Darlene is tangled in a complex love triangle with David and Ben, and -- like her mother -- Harris is caught up in a problem of her own.

Season 3 of THE CONNERS premiered on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. In the season opener, "Keep On Truckin' Six Feet Apart," the Conners are back and dealing with the pandemic, and life's financial troubles loom over the family. Dan is still trying to catch up on back-mortgage payments and avoid a potential eviction, while the Lunch Box is closed for everything but takeout and delivery. Becky and Darlene are both forced to search for additional income at the newly reopened Wellman Plastics plant. After a six-week break, THE CONNERS returned with new episodes on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. In the winter premiere, "A Cold Mom, a Brother Daddy and a Prison Baby," Ben's mom, Barb, arrives in town after an unexpected death and unveils shocking information from the past. Meanwhile, Becky and Emilio spend more time together.

The fourth season of THE CONNERS debuted on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. The season opener, "Trucking Live In Front of a Fully Vaccinated Studio Audience," is a live telecast for both the East and West Coast broadcasts, as the Conners continue to deal with the current pandemic while navigating breakups and newfound sobriety, all while planning an upcoming wedding. Jason Alexander guest stars as Pastor Phil. After a one-month break, THE CONNERS returned with new episodes on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. In the winter premiere, "Three Exes, Role Playing and a Waterbed," thinking it's Ben's day off, Darlene brings Nick to the hardware store only to run smack into Ben, who invites Nick to join him at The Lunch Box to watch a Bears game. Meanwhile, Dan tries to spruce up the bedroom while Louise is out on the road and Jackie meets Logan's mom.

THE CONNERS returned for its fifth season on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. In Season 5, the Conners continue to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford. This iconic family -- Dan, Jackie, Darlene and Becky -- grapples with parenthood, dating, financial pressures and aging in working-class America. Through it all -- the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns -- with love, humor and perseverance, the family prevails. In the season opener, "Double Honeymoon and Seeing Double," in an effort to save money, newlyweds Darlene and Ben, and Jackie and Neville head off on their joint honeymoon, where their cost-saving measures contribute to a tension-filled getaway. Elsewhere, Dan, Becky, Harris, Mark and Beverly Rose head off for a night at a waterpark, where Harris and Mark bond in an unexpected way as Mark copes with the news that his ex-boyfriend is dating someone else. After a five-week break, THE CONNERS returned with new episodes on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. In the winter premiere, "Two More Years and a Stolen Rose," the death of a beloved teacher from Dan and Jackie's high school brings old classmates together. Elsewhere, Becky asks Darlene and Ben for a big favor.

Season 6 of THE CONNERS premiered on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. In the season opener, "The Publisher Cops Show Pilot," Jackie faces problems at the Lunch Box and must take advice from an unexpected guest (Nick Offerman). Elsewhere, Dan and Darlene take a trip into Chicago.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC premiered "Valentine's Day Treats and Credit Card Cheats," a special Valentine's Day-themed episode of THE CONNERS. Becky decides it's time to introduce Tyler to Beverly Rose, but she is skeptical of Tyler's bonding approach. Elsewhere, Jackie believes someone has hacked Bev's credit card when several frivolous charges show up on the bank statement.
