Plot Synopsis

CANDY is a five-episode limited drama series that centers on Candy Montgomery, a 1980s housewife and mother who did everything right -- good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions -- but when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. With deadly results. Melanie Lynskey's real-life husband, Jason Ritter, plays a police officer investigating the murder. Hulu releases one new episode of CANDY each weekday from Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, 2022:

"Friday the 13th" (Monday, May 9, 2022): Candy Montgomery goes about her day while Allan Gore desperately tries to get a hold of his wife, Betty.

"Happy Wife, Happy Life" (Tuesday, May 10, 2022): Candy and Betty try to fill the voids in their lives.

"Overkill" (Wednesday, May 11, 2022): Candy and Betty relish in new friendships.

"Cover Girl" (Thursday, May 12, 2022): The truth closes in on the Montgomerys. Allan deals with the fallout of the previous day.

"The Fight" (Friday, May 13, 2022): Candy tells her story.
