Plot Synopsis

Using archival war video, computer graphics, and first-person interviews with historical experts and military personnel, BULLET POINTS explores famous battles and decisive moments in U.S. military history, while highlighting their significance in the outcome of a war or operation. Each 60-minute episode features a single era of modern military history, such as: "Battle for the Pacific," which chronicles the defining battles that turned the tide in the Pacific theater after Pearl Harbor; "America's First War on Communism," documenting when America faced two communist giants in Korea and succeeded in keeping tyranny in check; "Showdown in the Middle East"; "The Vietnam War," which explores America's involvement in Vietnam; "Operation Desert Storm, featuring the liberation of Kuwait from invading dictator Saddam Hussein; and much more. Interview subjects include: Dr. John Nagl LTC, USA (Ret), Counterinsurgency Expert; Dr. Aaron B. O'Connell, author of "The Making of the Modern Marine Corp"; Cdr. Tom Robertson, USN, Master Instructor, US Naval Academy; and many more experts in military history, operations and strategy.
