Plot Synopsis

BLOSSOM is a half-hour family sitcom, told through the eyes of Blossom Russo, a 14-year old who deals with the normal -- and sometimes -- abnormal problems of a teenager. Blossom is a musical prodigy who, by default, is the female head of the household. Her mother, Maddy, is away pursuing her own musical career, while her father, Nick, is a studio musician who tries to cope with being the sole parent to his three teenage children. Blossom's two brothers are: Joey, a not-so-smart baseball player and ladies man, who makes everybody's day by saying "Whoa!"; and Tony, who has his ups and downs in life and works at a doughnut shop for a while before eventually becoming a paramedic. Even though Blossom doesn't get along with her stepmother, Carol, their relationship improves over time. Plus, Blossom makes it through life with her best friend, Six, who has a crush on Joey. Six talks really fast when she is happy, angry, or nervous and thinks of the Russo family as her own family. Throughout the series run, BLOSSOM featured an all-star group of guest stars -- many before they became celebrities -- including Will Smith, Tobey Maguire, Neil Patrick Harris, Sonny Bono, Dick Clark, Estelle Getty, ALF, Johnny Galecki, David Schwimmer, B.B. King, Alex Trebek, Little Richard, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Reggie Jackson, Arsenio Hall, Brittany Murphy, David Arquette, Tori Spelling and Melissa Manchester.
