Plot Synopsis

In this spinoff of THE BLACKLIST, the world's most elusive criminals from Red's infamous list come together to form an elite mercenary team as they try to regain their self-worth after a lifetime of inflicting damage on the world. Seeking redemption for their past transgressions, this new group solves problems governments don't dare touch. Blacklist undercover operative Tom Keen joins the team's brilliant and cunning chief, Susan 'Scottie' Hargrave, as well as lethal assassin and Tom nemesis Matias Solomon, as they aim to be a force for good and right dangerous wrongs. Along with highly skilled members Nez Rowan and hacker Dumont, they will undertake seemingly impossible missions -- all in the hopes of repairing their damaged souls. THE BLACKLIST: REDEMPTION first aired as a backdoor pilot of THE BLACKLIST (the "Alexander Kirk" episode) in May 2016 before having its official series premiere on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT. In the season opener, "Leland Bray," a routine trip to New York turns dangerous when ex-operative Tom Keen is recruited by Scottie Hargrave, the head of an international security firm, to help rescue a kidnapped CIA agent. During the mission, Tom discovers evidence of a conspiracy within his own family.
On Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, NBC premiered the season finale of THE BLACKLIST: REDEMPTION. In the season ender, "Whitehall (Part 2)," Scottie and Howard battle for control of Halcyon and the dangerous technology tied to Whitehall. Tom clashes with Mr. Solomon as he makes a fateful choice.
