Plot Synopsis

Supermodel Beverly Johnson steps out of her role as glamorous fashion icon and opens her home to her daughter's family -- in an effort to reconnect with her daughter and to financially help her growing family during a tough economy. This reality series explores the unpredictable dynamic between mother, daughter and son-in-law, as Beverly sometimes oversteps boundaries because she loves her family and is determined to strengthen their relationship. Beverly's new family includes: her daughter, Anana Sims Patterson, a plus-size model; her son-in-law, David Patterson, a former pro football player in the NFL; her granddaughter, Ava Brielle Patterson; and her own mother, Gloria Johnson, who visits but does not move in.
